Church Information
Faith Tabernacle is an apostolic pentecostal church located in Montgomery City, MO on 121 West 4th ST. Faith Tabernacle was established in 1992 by Rev. Allan Laramore and his wife Patricia Laramore. The church started in Rev. Laramore and his wife's house in Montgomery City, MO. It wasn't too long before God blessed them with a building that they were able to rent. After moving to another building in wellsville(which they rented too) God once again blessed them by providing them a building in Montgomery City but this time they were able to buy the building. Now Faith Tabernacle completely owns the church building and continues to strive to bring the light of God to Montgomery City.
In 2001 Faith Tabernacle started over seeing We Care Ministries, a local food pantry and thrift shop, in an effort to help the community by helping to feed low income families. When the church started over seeing We Care it was renting a couple of rooms out of an old school building, and had one thrift store in Hermann MO. Through the hard work of the church, especially the Pastor and his wife Patricia, We Care has grown considerably and help more people now then ever. We Care is now an independent organization that owns a building in Montgomery City that houses both a food pantry and another thrift store.
So what's Faith Tabernacle's goal you might be asking? Well it can be summed up in a couple of scriptures:
Hebrews Chapter 10 verses 23-25: 23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) 24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
